​Health Policy Committee

The Assembly Health Policy Committee works with municipal and state agencies, non-profits, and private sector entities to study and make recommendations on legislative and policy matters regarding public health. Specific topics include substance misuse treatment and prevention, reduction of Anchorage's disproportionately high health care costs, health and safety regulations, and disease prevention and control.

The Committee meets every first Wednesday of each month from 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
