Beauty Salons and Barbershops

The Food Safety and Sanitation Program conducts opening inspections of beauty salons and barbershops in the Municipality of Anchorage. These facilities offer a range of services such as haircuts, hair styling, manicures, pedicures, and waxing.

To schedule an opening inspection, submit the application, ventilation approval letter, floor plan, list of services, and the $150 fee to our offices at 825 L Street, third floor.
