Salvation Army Alaska Centennial Campground Coordination Client Care/Donation Website

Centennial Campground Client Care - Alaska Division (salvationarmy.org)

As the need continues, The Salvation Army is also facilitating donation management for the campground. We are grateful to the community for their desire to help with provisions and would kindly ask that they please bring their donations to The Salvation Army Safe Campus - McKinnell House located at 1712 A Street, Anchorage, AK 99501, in order to maintain organization and to prioritize items coming in. We would respectfully ask that the public please refrain from bringing items directly to the campground due to limited storage and volunteer availability on site.

Helpful items to donate are as follows:

  • Handheld lamps (battery operated) or flashlights
  • Rain ponchos
  • New or gently used sweatshirts & sweatpants
  • New or gently used boots or tennis shoes
  • Bus passes
  • Gas cards
  • Camping mats (under sleeping bag)

We ask the community to please refrain from bringing:

  • Household electronics (toasters, microwaves, etc.)
  • Furniture / Mattresses
  • Sheets
  • Food perishable or non-perishable
  • Flammable liquids
  • Sleeping bags
  • Tents
  • Tarps
