People Mover Rider Survey Results – January 2026
On January 31, 2026, the Public Transportation Department (PTD) concluded its triannual Rider Survey. 649 people participated, up from 571 who completed it in September 2025.
This survey takes place 3 times a year (January, May, and September). The goal is to glean feedback regarding the rider's experience and learn what areas we can improve. Since the first survey in September 2022, PTD has received 8,204 responses from riders.
Clear data patterns have emerged with minor differences from survey to survey. Below are some key takeaways:
- Highest score (tie): "It is easy convenient to pay the bus fare or buy tickets/passes." (4.00/5)
Highest score (tie): "How likely are you to recommend People Mover?" (4.00/5)
- Lowest score: "People Mover is responsive to my complaints, problems, or concerns." (3.42/5)
- Biggest improvement from September's survey: "I can easily get information about delays or detours." (+.04)
