About the Aging & Disability Resource Center
The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) serves as a starting place to discover community programs available to you. Our trained and certified Resource Specialists are here to answer questions and help you understand a wide variety of resources. The ADRC prevents those seeking care support from navigating the maze of services alone.
All of the staff at the ADRC advocate for seniors and those with disabilities to ensure they have the most current, reliable, and unbiased information on long-term care options and services. We work to promote choice and independence for anyone needing information and assistance.

What We Do
Application Assistance
Contact a Resource Specialist with questions and concerns about public and private benefit programs. Our specialists can help you navigate resources and access available programs such as Social Security, Medicaid, Public Assistance, and more.
Options Counseling
Our Resource Specialists can assist with planning for your future through an objective, in-depth conversation. They will help you understand your options and make the best decision for yourself or your loved ones.
Person Centered Intake (PCI)
The PCI is the first step in the Medicaid Waiver application process. The State of Alaska's Health Department and the American Council of Aging describe these waivers on their websites. For more information regarding the waiver process, call the ADRC in Anchorage at (907) 343-7770.
Services at Chugach Manor / Chugach View
Within Chugach Manor and Chugach View (a public housing center owned/operated by Alaska Housing Finance Corporation), our Service Coordinator serves over 260 seniors and individuals with disabilities. The ADRC Service Coordinator's role is to assist these residents with case management, advocacy, and accessing resources that enable them to maintain independent living.

The virtual presentations are held on Microsoft Teams from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm on the second Tuesday of each month.
To receive the monthly e-vite, please email Karla.Wright@anchorageak.gov or call (907) 343 - 7778.
