A Special Municipal Election in Assembly District 4 of the Municipality of Anchorage will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, to determine whether Assembly Member Meg Zaletel, holding District 4 Seat F, shall be recalled.
Ballot packages will be mailed to qualified Anchorage voters in District 4, no later than 21 days before Election Day, October 26, 2021. Voters who will be at a temporary address during the three week election period may apply to vote at a temporary address. To receive your ballot package at an address other than your Voter Registration mailing address, please fill out and return an Application to Vote at a Temporary Address.

It is important for your address information in the voter registration database to be current. The last day to register to vote or update your voter registration for this special election was Sunday, September 26, 2021, 30 days prior to Election Day.
The Municipality of Anchorage receives voter registration information from the State of Alaska, Division of Elections. The next Regular Municipal Election will be on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. The last day to register to vote or update your voter registration for the regular municipal election is Sunday, March 6, 2022.
Regular municipal elections are held in April and are Vote at Home/Vote by Mail elections. Traditional polling places are not open and are not an option for voting on Election Day.
