For administrators of currently licensed facilities, please refer to an e-mail sent from CCL the week of 4/28/25 and be sure to take the AKCCIS training, go to AKCCIS to create an account, then contact the assigned specialist.
The Alaska Child Care Information System (AKCCIS) database is new and will move the licensing process forward in a more streamlined manner. If you are experiencing difficulties, please be patient and contact the Child Care Licensing office via phone or e-mail, or your assigned specialist. We will be happy to assist however we are able.
Please be advised that as of May 5, 2025, paper applications for Provisional Child Care License are no longer accepted. Please apply through the on-line system, AKCCIS. If assistance is needed to navigate AKCCIS, please feel free to reach out to the office during regular business hours. We are happy to assist however possible.
