​​​Right-of-Way Management Strategy​

​Rights-of-way are generally all the areas and public land over which the Municipality builds public streets, roads, and attendant infrastructure. 

In order to address any issues with private vehicles in the public right-of-way, the Assembly al​located the MOA Planning Department funding for a right-of-way management study through Assembly Resolution (AR) 2022-291, as amended and approved on October 11, 2022. The Anchorage Assembly removed minimum parking requirements from Title 21 with ​AO 2022-80(S) AA on November 22, 2022.
