LUC Voted 11-0 to support a Letter of Non-Objection to the Chugach Powder Guides recommendation for care, maintenance and registration of the alpine hut.

Agenda Item LUC 0808-05:Case Num: 2008-129 Variance--ZBEA, for an encroachment into the required yard setbacks Site Address: 310 ECHO RIDGE DR Location: A variance to allow an existing structure (a house) to encroach 1 1/2 feet into the required 20 foot front yard setback in the gR-2 (single-family/ two-family) zoning district. Alyeska Basin #7 Subdivision, Lot 6, Block 29. Located at 310 Echo Ridge Drive.Representative Larry Daniels.
LUC Voted 12-0 to approve the Variance as requested.

Agenda Item LUC 0808-06: Discussion of proposed interim ordinance (AO – 2008-15S) that would transfer the review authority of Public Facilities from the Planning & Zoning Commission to the Urban Design Commission presentation by Municipal Planning Department.
LUC Voted 0-16 NOT to support a Letter of Non-Objection for AO 2008-15(s1)

Agenda Item LUC 0808-07:Vote on Final Draft of Girdwood South Townsite Master Plan.
LUC Voted 15-5-1 to support a Letter of Non-objection to the findings of the South Townsite Master Plan Subcommittee as documented by resolution contained on Page 1 of the Plan Document.
