Watershed Management takes pride in offering a variety of programs and services that support watershed improvement, through collaboration with the state and federal government, developers, businesses, neighborhoods, and residents.

Watershed Management supports and implements programs identified in the Alaska Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (APDES) Permit​, our guiding document. Watershed Management plans, manages, and provides leadership in low impact development, construction and development guidance, floodplain permitting​, watershed planning, operations and maintenance​, monitoring and enforcement, and education.
