Workload permitting, you may obtain a same-day inspection if your request is received before 6:00 a.m. on the same business day.

- By phone: Call the inspection request line at 343-8300, 24 hours a day, seven days a week to initiate an inspection request.
(Incomplete messages will result in no inspection. Calls providing some of the required information will be scheduled for an AM inspection that day if before 6 a.m. Any message left after 6 a.m. will be scheduled for the next available day in the AM unless a date has been specified .)
- Have the following information ready when you call:
- Permit number
- Contact phone number
- Specific type of inspection
- Street address of job site (Provide lot, block & subdivision if no address exists)
- Preferred date and timeframe (a.m. or p.m.) requested.
When an inspector arrives, they will attempt to contact you. If thy cannot reach you and no
one is available to provide access, the visit will be marked as a "No Show", which may result
in fees.
