Stormwater Master Planning
Stormwater Master Plans presents the analysis, results, and recommendations resulting from a baseline stormwater infrastructure assessment completed for watersheds in Anchorage, Alaska. These Master Plans are focused on quantitatively evaluating storm drain infrastructure condition and hydraulic performance, and are intended to help guide public and private development in the watershed.
These Master Plans intend to provide a useful baseline for infrastructure planning, but it is developed at a broad, watershed-wide scale and level of detail. Master Plans consist of two primary parts: a hydrologic and hydraulic assessment and a risk assessment.
Two Master Plans have been developed for the Chester Creek and the Campbell Creek Watersheds. WMS plans to develop more Master Plans as funding arises. Follow the links below for interactive Story Maps, along with reports, documents, and downloadable GIS data.
