About the Parks and Recreation Commission
The Anchorage Parks & Recreation Commission consists of nine commissioners. Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of every month, 6 p.m. at the Spenard Recreation Center, located at 2020 W. 48th Avenue.
The public is welcome to attend.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Public comment before the commission will follow Municipal policies and procedures for public hearings including:

Members of the public may only comment one (1) time during the public hearing process on an item.

Public comment will be timed and each member of the public will be allowed to speak for 3 minutes.

Groups or organizations may appoint one person to represent the organization. The group or organization representative will be allowed 5 minutes to comment.
