Anchorage, AK – The Anchorage Department of Health is pleased to welcome two new Division Managers, filling all management vacancies at AHD.
Kimberly Rash is the new Administration Division Manager. She has been employed with the Arapahoe County Department of Human Services in Colorado for nine years, initially supervising SNAP and Medicaid specialists and then becoming the Operations Administrator. Prior to this work, Kimberly managed the Housing Choice Voucher programs for both South Metro Housing Options and for the City of Fort Myers Housing Authority. Kimberly has over a decade of experience connecting services and engaging with internal and external clientele and she looks forward to collaborating with the AHD team. Additionally, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her two kids, husband, and nine-year old boxer.
Dylan Pearce joins our team as the Public Health Division Manager. Dylan is an accomplished professional with 12 years of experience in healthcare operations. He earned his bachelors and master's degree from Texas Tech University, focusing on business management and healthcare operations. He was born and raised in Anchorage and graduated from Service High in 2004. He enjoys exploring Alaska and spending time in the outdoors with his wife Melissa, and son Archer. While working with Mat-Su Regional Medical Center Dylan led a community wide campaign that produced a 70% reduction in annual lower extremity amputations performed in the Mat Su Valley. These experiences combined with understanding the positive impact that well run health programs and services can have on people's lives has helped to cultivate Dylan's passion for public health and the well-being of our community.
