Parks Rezone Project
PZC case 2025-0131 and PZC Case 2025-146 update the zoning and future land use designations for a number of parks across the Anchorage Bowl. These include both designated and dedicated parks. This implements action 8-4 of the 2040 Land Use Plan: “Conduct housekeeping rezone of dedicated parks to PR district, and some T-zoned lands to PLI." The Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend approval of these cases at the December 8, 2025 Planning & Zoning Commission meeting.
