2011 Update of HSTC Goals & Objectives

Anchorage Metropolitan Area Transportation Solutions (AMATS) is soliciting grant proposals for Human Service Transportation funds. 

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is the primary source of federal funding for public transit and community transportation programs. Additional funding is provided by Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority (AMHTA). The following reimbursement programs are available:

• Elderly & Persons with Disabilities (FTA 5310)

  2011 Funding Available: $67,249

   Required Match: Capital: 80/20

• Job Access & Reverse Commute (FTA 5316)

  2011 Funding Available: $107,434

   Required Match: Capital: 50/50 & Operating: 80/20

• New Freedom Program (FTA 5317)

  2010 Funding Available: $13,714

  2011 Funding Available: $64,043

   Required Match: Capital: 80/20 & Operating: 50/50

• Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority

  2012 Funding Available: $236,250

   Required Match: Capital: 0 & Operating: 0
