KFQD is the radio station designated to receive the initial Emergency Alert System (EAS) in Anchorage. They can be found at AM 750 and FM 103.7.

When activated by the Office of Emergency Management (OEM), 2-1-1 hosts a call center to assist the community with emergency needs.
