Municipality of Anchorage Community Council Surveys
Community Council Survey for the 2027-2032 Capital Improvement Program (CIP)

The annual Community Council Survey is an important tool in assessing proposed capital project needs in Anchorage. Once a community's highest priorities are identified they can be properly considered when developing the proposed 6-year Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The list is currently composed of projects from departments, previous year feedback from community councils, and the Approved 2026-2031 Capital Improvement Program. We've included for your convenience the 2014 through 2026 surveys completed by councils that participated.

Please read the Mayor's Letter to Community Councils.

35 Community Councils have the opportunity to submit surveys expressing their community priorities. These priorities and community comments will be considered when creating the official MOA proposed CIP. The survey for the 2027 CIP will begin on March 19, 2026 and conclude on June 1, 2026. All the results are listed below.
