Calling Anchorage City Nerds!
Nerd Nite is happening on Thursday, November 2 from 6pm - 8pm at 49th State Brewing Co. We're inviting locals to geek out for 7 minutes about all things related to housing.
Presentations should be on topics related to housing and something you're excited about! We're not looking for expertise, we're looking for informed enthusiasm!
The format is limited to:
- 7 minutes maximum
- 14 slides maximum
Submission Timeline
The pitch application will be open until 11:45pm on Saturday, September 30. We'll announce the final lineup by Tuesday, October 10. If you'd like to run an idea by us first, or if you have questions, you can contact us at wwmasls@anchorageak.gov
About Housing Action WeekAnchorage is in the midst of a housing shortage crisis. We simply don't have enough diverse, affordable housing opportunities for everyone who wants to live here. The Anchorage Assembly wants to convene the community to work on solutions and we need your help!
October 30 - November 4, 2023 is Housing Action Week and we want to fill up the entire week with programs, events, and activities to engage all parts of our community in this important discussion.
