The Heritage Land Bank Advisory Commission will be holding a meeting on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 1:30pm. This will be a hybrid meeting with in-person, online, and telephone options.

The meeting agenda is available online here. This meeting has one action item and public hearing regarding the disposal of a portion of HLB Parcel 3-011, by perpetual, non-exclusive telecommunication and electrical easement to Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Public Hearing Notice). There will also be a work session regarding the disposal of HLB Parcel 2-156 to the non-profit organization Alaska Natural Burial. This work session is a conversation between the Commissioners and staff, NOT an opportunity for public input. There will be public hearing on this project at a later date.
Community members may provide public comment during the public hearing or Items or Persons Not on the Agenda. Anyone wishing to provide public comment via email, telephone or Teams must email hlb@anchorageak.gov by 5:00 pm the day before the meeting. In the email, please provide your name, phone number, and the subject line should read “HLBAC Public Comment." All members of the public on the Teams Meeting shall be muted until called on to speak. Those wishing to speak in-person do not need to sign up prior to the meeting.
