Approving this ordinance may limit the amount of area that is usable in smaller parks, especially when L2 Landscaping is required around the perimeter of the park. The Parks Zoning designation does have a very limited number of permitted uses and may impact smaller parks and current land uses in some of the parks. Perhaps rezoning larger parks may be more appropriate.
