| I write for the Taku Campbell Community Council as Chair of the Streets and Trails Committee. For the Record: While the Council largely agrees with and supports the Master Plan as submitted it is noted that one change has occurred in the park since the plan was finalized with the Citizen Advisory Committee. That change is the blocking off off a path entering the Park from the 76th Ave side adjacent to a company known as Blinds Unlimited. Reasons for this change are unknown; the Council did not request it. In the plan updated process the Council representative had specifically asked that this entrance be codified into the plan for the following reasons: 1. It is a well used access point and from ground truth installations looked like it had been or was intended originally to be an access point or Gateway. 2. Given the very widely separated other two access points it was requested as another, use facilitating access point. 3. This point provided a safer, less hazardous route to and from popular destinations to the South on King St; negotiating traffic to the other two access points can be quite hazardous to non motorized users. 4. As a Trail Watch member I use this point frequently when doing Park sweeps for homeless camps, maintenance issues and park user needs. The Streets and Trails Committee therefore requests that at a minimum the blockage be removed and the request for a third gateway be incorporated into the Master Plan. Thank You Jeff Schmitz Secretary, Taku Campbell Community Council Chair, Streets and Trails Committee | |

| Steve Rafuse and the supporting team did a great job of putting this Master Plan together. | |
