| It's a tragedy that the Planning & Zoning Commission are a panel of mindless goons. Lately, having to sit through a P&Z hearing is soul crushing. With regards to this CUP application, I will bet that at least one of the commissioners is associated with sale of the property under the CUP, or at least twice removed. I'm sure this application will pass without any hesitation from any of the commissioners. I imagine there has not been a visual impact study nor has the commission ask the petitioner to provide one. Do we really want to pollute the view shed of Turnagain Arm with a 140 Telecommunications tower? Do we really this utility? I appose this CUP application and I will extremely surprised if the P&Z Commission will do the same. Also, I have driven to Portage the last two weekends and have not seen any of the required blue 'Public Notice' Signs posted. Thank you, Jonathan Petrunic | |
