| I am submitting comments as President of the Airport Heights Community Council on its behalf. Representatives of the school district have attended numerous meetings of the council, keeping us informed of the design plans and progress of the remodel of the school. The council is very supportive of this project and appreciative of the school district keeping us involved and informed. Although the final site plan and landscape plan review was not received before out January meeting and our February meeting is tomorrow, the day after the council comments are due, the executive board met and supports the plan, particularly the increase in parking spaces, the landscaping design, which incorporates a greenhouse, raised beds, and apple trees, and the provisions for temporary show storage. The council looks forward to continued updates by school district representatives as the project progresses. | |
