| I, along with my Condo Association representing 70 residents/homeowners, are strongly opposed to increasing any current height restrictions by rezoning 701 W. 2nd Ave from a B-2C district to a PC SL district. The residents of our condo building currently enjoy unobstructed views over the inlet, which would be impeded with any taller structures built on this site. We would lose our view and property values with any taller construction. | |

| I am opposed to rezoning Terminal Reserve GSA Parcel PLO 3532! Rezoning this parcel will have a huge impact on our fragile commercial community. Rezoning will stress our limited parking, safety and security . Rezoning the Railroad property will obstruct the open views for tenants, owners and clients many of whom selected 725 Christensen Dr. For the expansive northern views, afternoon sunshine and stellar sunsets. Rezoning will substantially decrease the value of our property, reduce the opportunity of resale and negatively impact our safety and security. Rezoning for high rise construction will increase street and pedestrian traffic. Rezoning will inter fear with our view covenant. Rezoning would represent. Taking without just compensation. Rezoning will compromise the Historic District of old Anchorage. Why not build a Park on the Terminal Reserve. A park to mark the northern entrance to the Coastal Trail. Kincaid Park is at the southern end of the Coastal Trail. Why not a Park for many to enjoy a beautiful place to see Sleeping Lady, Denali with evening sunsets in summer and the Northern Lights in Winter. I am absolutely opposed to rezoning Terminal Reserve GSA Parcel PLO 3632. Pat Holloway | |

| I attended all of the Ship Creek planning sessions. I was concerned that the planning might include changing the three story height limitation in zone B-2C. I asked Mayor Dan Sullivan, while a meeting was active (so all heard my question and his response), if this height limitation would remain. He answered "Yes it would". I and many of my neighbors oppose any rezoning that would change this three story limitation. Anything over three stories at this location would block my view of MT. Susitna. I will see you at the Public Hearing on Monday JUly14, 2014. | |
