| Staff recommendations include ped walkways to the south and west but I do not see the requirement to connect to the north. While the parking lot of the church is on the north, one would expect there to be a connection to and through it to Abbott Rd where in the future one hopes there will be improved pedestrian facilities. Also, if this 12 DUA development is to be considered part of a town center design, where is the open space that needs to be considered with such developments? If the property was designated park land and yet was in private ownership, how does that factor into the development? Shouldn't there be some public open space considered for this multi-family development? | |
