| It seems like a reasonable change. I am concerned that the building hieghts may interfer with existing views of the inlet. I would like to see the Sat and Sunday markets as well as the farmer's market moved down to that area. It would make for better parking during the developement phase and get folks used to going there. They could use the parking lots that we currently clear for vendors and walk down the existing steps or ride the Ulu factory trolly. It might make a lot of downtown bricks and motar establishments very happy and give the parking public a break as well. A fish market too. What fun! And, why not. But tall buildings will only make it a canyon and an unfriendly one at that. Since I overlook the entire area, the controll of lighting is also important. No blinding 30-80 towers of lights please. Sincerely, Bobbe Seibert | |
