The Purchasing Department works collaboratively to provide both customer-oriented and solution-oriented results. We operate ethically and responsibly to manage and oversee the procurement needs for the Municipality of Anchorage.

Who is Purchasing?

​The Purchasing Department is responsible for the procurement of supplies, services, and construction for all Municipal operations. This is done through the competitive bidding process in accordance with Title 7 of Municipal Code, Federal and State laws and regulations.
