Youth Classes
Ignite your child's passion for winter! Little Nordic lessons teach little learners through a safe, fun, and exciting experience. We'll focus on building confidence, balance, moving on flat ground and hills while developing a love of skiing. Parents will walk or ski with their children for skier support and to bond over the shared experience. No experience is necessary to start. Practice locations may change according to snow and weather conditions. A limited number of youth skis are available to rent through the Little Nordic program.
Ski Outreach
Anchorage Parks and Recreation is sponsoring FREE cross-country ski field trips for selected Title I schools. Field trips are available in January to February each year.
Schools may schedule one field trip for a group of up to 65 students in grades 3 - 8.
