Service High/Hillside Singletrack Trails

Project Overview

Singletrack Advocates is building new singletrack trails between Service High School and Hilltop Ski Area. New trails will improve connectivity, provide terrain for youth skills development, and disperse traffic in Hillside Park. The new trails will also complement existing trails by providing beginner and intermediate trails through rolling terrain. The development would be within existing Nordic loops and within designated high-use areas identified by the Far North Bicentennial Park Trails Improvement Plan.

Timeline

In 2023, Singletrack Advocates presented the project to Abbott Loop and Hillside Community Councils and the Far North Bicentennial Park Users Group. The proposal also earned letters of support from Mighty Bikes, NSAA, and Hilltop Ski Area. Thanks to Adrian Barniak for great photos from the ribbon cutting event!
