​Refund Policy​

Cancellations and refund request must be received 14 days prior in writing to be eligible for the full refund.  Athletic sport fields (soccer, football, baseball, softball, tennis, hockey, volleyball, rugby) require a thirty (30) day notice of cancellation in order to receive a refund.  If less than thirty (30) day notice is given, full fee will be applied and subject for payment to the Municipality Of Anchorage.​

For outside events, Parks and Recreation cannot guarantee public restroom facilities.  It is strongly recommended that permit holder obtain their own restrooms for their event from a local vendor.  Refunds will not be granted for weather.  Refunds will not be granted for lack of parking, the parking lots are open to the public.

​Refunds are available upon written request as per the following:

  • 2 weeks prior to event - 100%
  • 7-13 days - 75%
  • 3-6 days - 50%
  • 1-2 days - 25%
  • Day of - 0%

Please attach your original cash receipt to refund request to expedite the process.  Refunds take up to 30 days from date of written refund request.

Due to difficulties with the COVID-19 pandemic refunds may take slightly longer than 30 days. We are working diligently​ to process refunds as fast as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Class cancellations may occur due to weather conditions or low enrollment.  Cancellations done by the MOA will be refunded at 100%.
