Overview
In 2024, Anchorage voters approved a Parks Bond that included park improvements and safety enhancements in the Mountain View neighborhood. Mountain View parks include Davis Park, William B. Lyons Park, Duldida Park and Louie G. Mizelle Park. The bond was passed to implement priorities identified in the 2015 Davis Park Master Plan as well as other neighborhood park safety enhancements and lighting.

Advisory Group
Apply to join the Advisory Group! This volunteer group will meet 2-3 times with the planning team to provide feedback on park improvements.
Mountain View Parks and Facilities

Davis Park (66 acres): Community Use Park that includes nature trails, athletic fields, a basketball court, disc golf course, picnic shelter and community gardens. Davis park is on land leased to the Municipality of Anchorage from Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson (JBER). A masterplan was completed for the park in 2015-2017. A garden expansion for use by Fresh International Gardens (FIG) was completed in 2023.

Duldida Park (0.6 acres): a neighborhood park with inclusive (level 1) playground, upgraded in 2016.

William B. Lyons Park (1.9 acres): a special use park with inclusive (level 1) playground, picnic shelter, adjacent to Mountain View Community Center. Playground upgraded 2022.

Mountain View Community Center is owned by the Municipality of Anchorage and operated by the Boys & Girls Club of Alaska. Plaza at Community Center upgraded in 2023.

Louie G. Mizelle Park (0.1 acre): Pocket park in the Peterkin Street right-of-way.
