Anchorage Parks and Recreation

Chester Creek Sports Complex Master Plan

Project Overview

Anchorage Parks and Recreation is updating the Chester Creek Sports Complex Master Plan. The Chester Creek Sports Complex (CCSC) Master Plan, last updated in 2006, addressed outdated facilities and community needs. A 2015 site plan review approved parking expansion, circulation improvements, and Mulcahy Stadium renovations. The Master Plan update will engage the community to reassess existing facilities and envision future improvements, use, and management of the park.

The Chester Creek Sports Complex is located at the junction of Fairview and Midtown Anchorage and is accessible directly from the Chester Creek Trail. The park boundary includes athletic venues such as the Sullivan Arena, Ben Boeke Ice Arena, Anchorage Football Stadium, Mulcahy Stadium, Kosinski Baseball Fields, and two outdoor hockey arenas.
