​Provide Cottage Food Ingredients and Production Process​

To be eligible for a Cottage Food License, a complete list of ingredients and how each food is prepared for every product must be submitted with your application. If you are submitting more than 10 pages of recipes, you must submit physical copies by mail or in person at the 3rd floor office of 825 L Street. ​Cottage Food Vendors must keep the ingredient list on file up-to-date.

Example of Ingredient and Production List:

Delaney Park Sweet Pickles Ingredients: 1 pound English cucumbers (rinsed and speared), 1 tablespoon kosher salt, 3 tablespoons granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon dried dill, 1/2 cup white vinegar, and 1 cup water.

Production: Place ingredients into mason jars and can/seal according to the manufacturer instructions. Cool jars safely and add labels to jars before storing (see more i​nformation about labeling).
