The municipal license and special land use permit are applied for on a single application form

Municipal Marijuana Establishment License Checklist - This checklist was created by the Municipal Clerk's Office to assist in tracking the status of your Municipal Marijuana License and Special Land Use Permit.

Special Land Use Permit for Marijuana (SLUP)

Applications will not be accepted until a deemed complete State of Alaska Marijuana License has been obtained

Applicants must request final inspections for issuance of the license and special land use permit certificate.

Notice of Zoning Action for the SLUP must be filed with the State Recorder's Office must be completed before requesting inspections.
A certificate of occupancy (CO) or conditional certificate of occupancy (CCO) must be received before requesting inspections.

- Request final inspections by the State of Alaska by email at amco.enforcement@alaska.gov.

Project Narrative	As required by AMC 21.03.105C.3.a.
Cultivation facilities must also provide:
Deemed complete State of Alaska marijuana license application	Covers license requirements listed under Article 4.
Mold mitigation plan Water usage/waste water discharge Odor control plan Certification of power capacity	Guidance from the Electric Utilities, including contact information Chugach Electric Association Letter
Manufacturing facilities must also provide:
Deemed complete State of Alaska marijuana license application	Covers license requirements listed under Article 5.
Product and equipment list Certification from industrial hygienist or PE Water usage/waste water discharge Moisture/temperature control plan	As required by AMC 21.03.105C.3.c. As required by AMC 21.05.055B.2. As required by AMC 10.80.535C.
Retail establishments must also provide:
Deemed complete State of Alaska marijuana license application	Covers license requirements listed under Article 6.
Neighborhood responsibility plan	As required by AMC 21.05.055B.4.
