Municipality to Hold Listening Sessions on Proposed Navigation Center

Anchorage, AK ­– Today, Anchorage Mayor Dave Bronson announced a series of community listening sessions concerning the proposed navigation center, that is part of the Municipality's comprehensive plan to address homelessness. The listening sessions will provide the public an opportunity to learn about the navigation center, and have questions answered by municipal officials.

“Solving homelessness is a goal we all want to achieve in Anchorage. The proposed navigation center, that the Assembly Legislative Drafting Group and I both support, will serve as a key pillar as we build out our robust plan to help the most vulnerable in our city," said Mayor Bronson.

The listening sessions will be held as follows:

Session #1

  • When: Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Where: Wilda Marston Theater at the Z.J. Loussac Library, 3600 Denali St, Anchorage, AK 99503
  • Who: Municipal officials will present and be available to answer questions.

Session #2

  • When: Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.​
  • Where: Assembly Chambers at the Z.J. Loussac Library, 3600 Denali St, Anchorage, AK 99503
  • Who: Municipal officials will present and be available to answer questions.

All members of the public are invited. The listening sessions will be broadcast live on the Mayor's Facebook, YouTube, and Vimeo pages.
