Municipality, State to Sign Human Trafficking Working Group MOUs

ANCHORAGE – Tomorrow, Mayor Ethan Berkowitz and Commissioner Heidi Drygas of the Alaska Department of Labor & Workforce Development will join with representatives of law enforcement agencies and non-profit service organizations to sign Memoranda of Understandings (MOUs) to officially establish the state-municipal Human Trafficking Working Group. The Working Group’s goals are to increase awareness and decrease the incidence of human trafficking in Alaska through collaboration and cooperation among its members and the general public.
