Municipality awards $600,000 to community partners; creating vibrant neighborhoods and supporting essential services

ANCHORAGE – Today, Mayor Ethan Berkowitz announced the recipients of the 2016 Mayor’s Community Grants. The Community Grants Program partners with organizations that support local economic development, neighborhood revitalization, and assistance for vulnerable residents.

“Community grants give a boost to worthy organizations working to make our community safer, healthier, and more resilient. This year’s recipients have a successful record of making Anchorage a better place to live,” stated Mayor Berkowitz.
