Anchorage, AK – Today, Mayor Dave Bronson named Raylene Griffith, Acting Director of the Human Resources Department. Mayor Bronson accepted the resignation of Niki Tshibaka today. Mayor Dave Bronson thanked Mr. Tshibaka for his dedicated service to the citizens and the employees of the Municipality of Anchorage.
Mr. Tshibaka was named Director of Human Resources on July 1, 2021. He previously served the State of Alaska as Assistant Commissioner of the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development.
Acting Director Raylene Griffith has worked for the Municipality since 2013. Ms. Griffith has served in a variety of roles in the Human Resources Department and is currently the Labor Relations Director.
