NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY PUBLIC HEARINGS:
The Assembly of the Municipality of Anchorage will hold a public hearing on the following legislation at its regular meeting of September 11, 2018. The public hearing portion of the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and is held in the Assembly Chambers, Z.J. Loussac Library, 3600 Denali:
Resolution No. AR 2018-239, a resolution approving an Administrative Agreement (APDEA 2018-01 Revised) between the Municipality of Anchorage (Municipality) and the Anchorage Police Department Employees Association (APDEA) regarding amendments to Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) language, Employee Relations Department.
Ordinance No. AO 2018-72, an ordinance authorizing a lease on a portion of Lot 9, Section 7, T 13 N, R 2 W between the Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility and Sprintcom, Inc., Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility.
Ordinance No. AO 2018-73, an ordinance of the Anchorage Assembly amending Anchorage Municipal Code Chapter 28.120 to clarify the qualifications required for Election Commission appointees, and to allow a member of the Election Commission to attend and participate remotely in live proceedings utilizing telephonic or secure video conferencing technologies, Assembly Member Petersen and Assembly Chair Dunbar.
Resolution No. AR 2018-250, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $1,643,435 from the State of Alaska, Department of Health and Social Services as a grant to the State Direct/Federal Pass-Thru Grants Fund (231900) for the Child Care Licensing Program, in the Department of Health and Human Services.
Resolution No. AR 2018-251, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage approving one or more Master Lease Purchase Agreement Schedules and appropriating an amount Not To Exceed $2,651,000 from the proceeds of one or more Master Lease Purchase Agreement Schedules to the Information Technology Operating Fund (607000) and appropriation of said funds to the Information Technology Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Fund (607008), Information Technology (IT) Department, for system architecture life cycle replacements and upgrades.
Resolution No. AR 2018-240, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its protest regarding a new Restaurant/Eating Place Liquor License #5676 with Restaurant Designation Permit for Fire Island Rustic Bake Shop, LLC DBA Fire Island Rustic Bake Shop located at 2530 E 16th Ave., Anchorage, AK 99508 and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action (Airport Heights Community Council), Assembly Chair Dunbar, Assembly Vice-Chair Croft and Assembly Public Safety Committee Chair Dyson.
Resolution No. AR 2018-241, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its protest regarding the Transfer of Ownership of Beverage Dispensary-Tourism Liquor License #1443 with Restaurant Designation Permit for Ashford TRS Anchorage, LLC DBA Sheraton Anchorage Hotel and Spa located at 401 E 6th Ave., Anchorage, AK 99501 and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action (Downtown Community Council), Assembly Chair Dunbar, Assembly Vice-Chair Croft and Assembly Public Safety Committee Chair Dyson.
