Description
The Annual Action Plan proposes how US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds will be used to meet the national objectives of decent affordable housing, suitable living-environments and expanded economic opportunities for low-income households and neighborhoods. The 2026 Action Plan outlines programming and budget priorities for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) HUD programs.
Public Hearing will be held as part of the monthly Housing Homeless and Neighborhood Development (HHAND) commission meeting on May 6, 2026 in room 423, Jewel Jones Conference Room, Anchorage Health Department, 825 L Street, Anchorage, starting at 4:00 PM. Written comments will also be accepted. The 30-day public comment period for the above plans starts April 29, 2026 and ends at 5:00 PM May 29, 2026.
