Neighborhood Time Machine
Celebrate the 50-year anniversary of Munification – when the City of Anchorage and the Greater Anchorage Area Borough united into the Municipality of Anchorage in 1975 – by going back in time through the Municipality’s history.
Maps of different eras are displayed on floors and walls across the Municipality – you can visit them all to see how much Anchorage has changed over time. Send a selfie from your favorite location to @thankorage on Instagram or Facebook to be entered to win an official MOA50 tee!
