This district district is a medium-density urban and suburban multiple-family residential district. This district is governed by section 21.40.045 of the municipal code.

Multiple principal structures are allowed only on lots of one acre (43,560 square feet) or more.

Each dwelling unit over 8 requires an additional 2,500 square feet of lot area. However, as the maximum number of dwelling units in any building is limited to 8, this only applies to lots of one acre (43,560 square feet) or more.

All areas not devoted to buildings, structures, drives, walks, off-street parking facilities or other authorized installations must be planted with Visual Enhancement landscaping.

Perimeter landscaping is required for parking lots serving more than 3 dwelling units (see AMC 21.45.080.W.6 and W.10.)
