Platting Board
The Platting Board is comprised of nine members of the public appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Assembly.  Its powers and duties are specified in AMC 21.10.020.  The most common cases before the Board are "long" plats and easement or right-of-way vacations.  Both of these require a public hearing, and anyone may offer testimony before the Board.  The Board usually meets on the first Wednesday of each month.  The Planning Department serves as staff to the Board.
