Tax summaries provide a breakdown on imports, exempt sales, taxable quantities and tax for cigarettes and other tobacco products (OTP) as well as total tax collected. The tax summaries are based on monthly tax returns filed by licensees.  Exempt sales are sales by exemption card holders to qualified businesses located outside the Municipality.   AMC 12.40.240, Confidentiality of records, requires the Municipality to protect financial information reported on the individual tax returns. Therefore, Treasury cannot provide more detailed breakouts of quantities and tax if doing so would violate AMC 12.40.240.
