AIRCRAFT REGISTRATION TAX

Anchorage Municipal Code (AMC) Chapter 12.08 requires that all persons owning any interest in an aircraft located or operated within the municipality to register such aircraft with the municipality. Please refer to the following for additional information:

You may pay your Aircraft Registration Tax to the Municipality of Anchorage by Credit Card.

• To pay by credit card visit www.officialpayments.com 
  or call 1-800-272-9829 (at the prompt, enter Jurisdiction Code 1201).
  There will be a nominal fee charged for this service.
• To complete the transaction by either method, you must be ready to provide your
  "Account No.". Your account number contains seven (7) digits and is included on billing
  statements sent by the Municipality.
• To pay your Aircraft Registration Tax you must select the "Local" tax option and then
  the "Aircraft Registration Tax" option.
• These are the only options available to pay your Aircraft Registration Tax account
  balances with a credit card.

Failure to pay in full by the due date may result in a lien filing with FAA and additional costs added to the account balance.
