What is the Non-Motorized Transportation Plan?

The Non-Motorized Transportation Plan will be a community developed guide that will help identify and prioritize projects funded through Anchorage Metropolitan Area Solutions (AMATS) and the capital Improvements Program.

The Non-Motorized Transportation Plan is a combination of       three elements, the Pedestrian Plan, the Bike Plan and Update to the Areawide Trails Plan.

Implementation of the Non-Motorized Transportation Plan improvements will create safer and easier ways to walk and bike to schools, to shopping, to transit, to jobs and to public parks.  Thank you to all who participated in our Pedestrian Plan
