This document provides the analysis and conclusions regarding the PM-10 air quality conformity determination for the 2007 Update of the Chugiak-Eagle River Long-Range Transportation Plan and 2006-2008 Transportation Improvement Program pursuant to 40 CFR Part 93.
This document provides the analysis and conclusions regarding the air quality conformity determination for the Amendment to Include the Knik Arm Crossing in the 2025 Anchorage Long-Range Transportation Plan pursuant to 40 CFR Part 93. While Anchorage is currently only required to conduct an air quality conformity analysis on carbon monoxide, there is growing concern about the health effects of particulate matter. As a result, a discussion of coarse (PM-10) and fine (PM-2.5) particulate emissions is included as Appendix A.

According to federal regulations all new Transportation Improvement Plans must be found to be in conformity with the Federal Clean Air Act as amended in 1990. AMATS staff has conducted the required carbon monoxide air quality analysis click here and concluded that the 2004-2006 TIP will not undermine the ability of the Muncipality of Anchorage to achieve compliance with the EPA carbon monoxide standards. |
