Adopt-A-[Bus] Stop
Everyone Benefits
When you Adopt-A-Stop, you demonstrate and concern for others and civic pride, while you help clean up our community. Everyone benefits from this environmentally conscious program: transit riders, property owners, and the community in general.
You Can Participate
Anchorage People Mover has more than 1,200 opportunities for you to Adopt-A-Stop. Individuals, civic groups, private companies, public agencies, churches, students, and scout troops are welcome to join in the effort to make our bus stops safer, cleaner and more accessible. Your participation will make our community a better place to live.
Adopt-A-Stop is Simple
As an adopter, you'll agree to pick up litter at a designated bus stop. Adopters will empty the trash receptacle and recycle or dispose of the trash properly. In the winter adopters can help to brush snow off a bench seat or sweep away snow between the bus stop and the road.
