The Watershed Task Force was created in October 2005 to help the Municipality implement salmon recovery projects along Ship Creek, Chester Creek, and Campbell Creek. The Watershed Task Force advises on the scope and applicability of proposed restoration, conservation and public outreach projects. The Watershed Task Force also provides input on a watershed plan framework for each municipal creek. Above all the Watershed Task Force ensures coordination among the many governmental and non-governmental organizations involved in watershed planning and salmon restoration in Anchorage.
